US targets five Belarusians involved in Ryanair diversion

10 August 2021 The US has targeted five individuals who supported the diversion of a Ryanair flight that led to the arrest of a journalist. On 23 May 2021 Ryanair flight 4978 was diverted to Minsk Airport. Upon landing journalist Roman PROTASEVICH and his girlfriend Sofia SAPEGA were arrested. Both are still in custody.
